This statue of the legendary western frontiersman and showman, Buffalo Bill Cody stands on Persimmon Hill in the garden of the Western Heritage Museum and National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The statue depicts Buffalo Bill on his favorite horse Brigham, as he beckons to all gathered, the opening of the west.
The statue stands 33-feet high, weighs 19-tons and was dedicated on June 19, 1977.
