Creve Coeur Lake is the largest natural lake in the State of Missouri. It is a great place to paddle, sailor fish. Gas motors can't be used. They close the lake for speed boat racing once a year.
Parking/put-in/launching information:
There are 2 ramps available on the lake.

Paddling conditions to be expected:
lake

Difficulty of the trip:
Easy

Length of trip: 2 hours

Portages:
At the southern most end you can paddle down a canal then portage over the construction road that is on big pipes. You should be able to paddle some distance. I have never tried it so can't speak from experience. The far North end could paddle all the way to the Missouri river if the water is really high. We made it most of the way once but downed trees were a problem.

Permits required:
None

Type of trip:
No loops or shuttles needed

Other information:
Hiking and biking trails connect all the way to the Katy Trail.
