Dedicated in memory of Colonel Grover K. Coe, Base Cammander, Travis Air Force Base, November 1967 to February, 1969. Memorial is located that the corner of Travis Avenue and Burgan Boulevard. Accross the street for this park is the "Golden Bear" C-141 Starlifter memorial. This C-141 was the first to enter service with the USAF in 1968.
List if there are any visiting hours: 8 to 5, 7 days a week. This memorial is located within an active US Military Installation. If you do not have US military identification you will have to stop at the Security Office located at the Main Gate on Travis Avenue to obtain a visitors pass. A verified photo ID, eg: Drivers license or Passport, is required to obtain a visitor's pass.
