Catch green blazed Otter Hole trail by walking west on Snake Den Rd. The trail enters the woods at the end of the road and you'll pass several trail junctions along the way.

At about the 1.3 mile mark make left onto a red and white blazed trail (red dot on white circle) and head towards High Point. The trail joins the blue blazed Highlands Trail for a while, then leaves, turning right toward the nearly treeless summit where there are outstanding views in all directions.

Continue down the east side and trail will soon join a yellow and white bazed trail. Together they cross a stream at Blue Mine and soon the yellow trail leaves to the right. Continue on the red past Roomy Mine which is an interesting side trip on a short, orange blazed trail.

The red trail soon meets the yellow trail again. Turn left onto the yellow trail and you will reach a scenic waterfall. Shortly the yellow re-joins the red trail and together they end at Snake Den Road near the parking area.
