The Belton Cemetery was founded in 1875. It contains the remains of two famous individuals - Carrie Nation, who used to take a hatchet to saloons throughout the midwest to enforce temporance, and Dale Carnegie, whose book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People,” spawned corporate training courses worldwide.
