The above coordinates will take visitors to the intersection of East Main and Mechanic Streets in downtown Springville. From this vantage point history will surround you. If you head down Mechanic Street you will discover the U.S. Post Office, Goddard Memorial Hall, Fiddlers Green Park and a slew of historical markers designating important events in Springville's history.
If you travel down East Main you will discover a myriad of shops along the main drag, and as you come to the light at the intersection of Main and Buffalo Street you will see Citizens National Bank, and the vintage 1950's Joylan Theatre. Even further down Main visitors will find the Springville Depot (which is listed as a stand alone building on the National Register of Historic Places).
A good idea would be to park along historic Main Street and wander around town. There are historical markers placed throughout town - many of which give wonderful detail as to the background and history of this quaint village. Enjoy!
