This is one of the few remaing buildings at the Shell Knob CCC Camp.
The Army Corps of Engineers now has a nice park,pavillion and lookout here now.
It also has restrooms, picnic tables and plenty of parking.
You can see many of the other remains of the old CCC campsite in the immediate area.
But this is the only one left standing.
We were out grabbing a few of the nearby geocaches...a must do.
And we also headed up the road to the Real Shell Knob Knob for a trek up the mountain to get a benchmark and geocache there.
