This old gargoyle is the only one on this little church in North Bedfordshire.

It is a surprise to come across this gargoyle as everywhere is bright and white including the interior of the church with its medieval wall paintings. The gargoyle is a little worse for wear with the water spouts originally through its eyes but now not in use. It is a bear-like creature and quite delightful with its eroded smile.
