I found this approximately one-quarter scale sculpture of a cowboy in full gear with his horse in front of a house in Breckenridge, CO. I checked the Breckenridge Public Art webpage and could not find him, so perhaps he is owned by either a business or private citizen. The detail is very high quality. I would like to point out though, that over one-third of American cowboys were of minority heritage, mainly African-American or Hispanic. So often, the statues are always feature Caucasian models. Visit the Barney Ford House Museum in town to learn more of African-American heritage in Colorado and the West.
