First Presbyterian Church, Green Cove Springs - This Old Church on Waymarking.com

FPD was established in 1884 by a small group of worshippers in a small cottage downtown. In 1888 the first stated supply Pastor from nearby Crescent City is recorded .
The property where the church now stands was purchased in 1889 and Architect J.A. Wood from New York was contracted to design the Church and other buildings. Blain Brothers Construction finished the church 1898.
The Church has underwent some changes over the years but basically remains intact from the original model. The church is built using a Gothic Motif for it's design. The Church has since been added to the National Register of Historic Places.
