Belle Chasse - Scarsdale Ferry

The Belle Chasse ferry landing is just off LA. Hwy. 23, approximately 10 miles southeast of downtown New Orleans, LA.  The ferry connects the  westbank town of Belle Chasse with the eastbank community of Scarsdale.  This site is the second-to-last crossing on the lower Mississippi River.

 

The ferry service is operated by the Plaquemines Parish government; toll and schedule information may be found at that link.
