The magnificent church of St.Mary's was built in 1864.
The 19th century church has had a few alterations and improvements over the years,a new organ was installed in 1909 and new oak choir stalls were fitted in 1940.
At the East end of the church and over the lady chapel are 2 beautiful stained glass windows which are both in the memory of those who fell in the 2 great wars.
