Civic Center Historic District - Kenosha WI - U.S. National Register of Historic Places on Waymarking.com

The Kenosha Civic Center Historic District is anchored by the Kenosha County Courthouse on the north side. But that is not the only major building within the district. The former Kenosha Public Museum (now the Dinosaur Discovery Center) is found on the west end. The Kenosha Public High School still educuates Kenosha's youth as the Reuther Central High School on the south side. The Kenosha Post Office rounds out the main district buildings on the east end.

The whole concept was originally planned in between 1922 and 1925 and has remained faithful to that plan ever since.
