Long Description:
The stone circle consists of symmetrically arranged stones with the tallest or potal stones to the north-east forming an entrance and the lowest to the south-west.
The number of stones in the circle of this region can vary from 5 to 19: there are 17 at Drombeg.

The site was excavated by L. M. Fahy in 1957.
