Sculptor Hai Ying Wu of Everett, Wash., has created a monumental memorial to U.S. veterans. The 23-foot-tall bronze depicts soldiers and service-women in the uniforms of several wars against the background of the American flag. The $175,000 sculpture was unveiled October 2002; dedicated on Veterans Day in 2003.
