This is our regular fall classic. Coming here for the past several years. Couple of friends have come here annually for near twenty. Campground is a bit rustic. Electric and water hookups available and there is a semi public washroom (you need to ask permission and you may not get it). No showers or other community properties, except the boat launch and fish cleaning station. Fire pits provided but besides that you need to bring it yourself. If you need any thing it’s a minimum forty minute trip or begging.
What this area provides is access to nature. A large provincial park near by has kept development limited and the wilderness factor high. Fishing can be good and the scenery spectacular. Our favorite time to visit is in the early fall. Trees are in colour, lakes are flat, and the fish are feeding.
