Near the lighthouse.
Faro de Punta Rasca is situated in a natural park in the south
part of Tenerife. It's placed on rocks overlooking the Atlantic
Ocean, and walking in this area shows you how the south part of
Tenerife looked before tourist got an eye on this lovely island.
You are not permitted to visit the lighthouse by car, so you have
to walk or use a bike.
Recommended walk or mountain bike trip could be from El Palmar
N 28°01.275 W 016°42.321. From here
you have a nice walk/ride along the coastline right to the
lighthouse, which you can se from a long distance. Teide is also
to be seen, so this is indeed a nice and easy walk. But as
always: Bring good shoes and water.
