This is a copy of the famous Greyfriars Bobby statue in Edinburgh, donated by that city to its Sister City, San Diego.
Bobby, a Skye terrier, became legend after he maintained a vigil for 14 years over the burial site of his owner, John Gray, at Greyfriars Church. Edinburgh's children took a liking to Bobby, and his statue was installed near the church in 1873, a year after he died.
The statue is located at the William Heath Davis House museum, at 410 Island Ave.
Breed: Skye Terrier
 Date Built: 1997/08/01
