This tower was originally the Rumley Forestry Service fire tower near York, Alabama. Disassembly started in 2005 and the relocation was finished on 22 April, 2006.
Excellent view once you make it to the top!
Hours are from sunup to sundown. Perry Lakes Park and the tower are open to the public and there are no entrance or usage fees, but if you get locked in there is a $25 fee for the sheriff to come and unlock the gate and let you out of the park!
