I went out to find four PPs today on the way to & back from a lunch meeting. Out of the corner of my eye I found two more on the way! Amazing! Chicagoland is fast becoming the capital of peace poles!

This is the final of the 5 PPs mentioned in a recently article in a local paper, The Doings. Over 1000 people came for its dedication in April 2002, by the Elmhurst Girl Scouts. There are 6 sides. It is located in a garden that is also known as the Friendship Walk, commemorating two neighbors that once shared this area. Now it is a public park containing museums, a greenhouse, a veterans memorial (see waypoint WM1CMC), sporting fields, etc.
