The Dearborn Inn offers replicas of famous houses as alternative to a hotel room. A cottage experience while travelling for business! My sister and Brother-in-law spent their honeymoon here.

The plaque reads:
The Edgar Allen Poe Cottage is a replica of Poe's famous home at Fordham in New York City, where the area was quiet countryside at that time. Today it is located at 192nd street in New York City. Poe lived in this house for three years and wrote "The Bells", "Annabelle Lee","Ulalume" and "Eureka" There. One can picture him writing in the parlour near the open warmth of the fire in winter.
