Both the sign and this establishment have seen better days. There are several 'motor courts' along this strip of South K Street across from the Tulare Fairgrounds - all of the signs but this one have been stripped of the tubing that once held the neon gases and produced pretty signs. I believe this was once Hwy 99 when it was a two-lane that went through the middle of all these little valley towns. With the building of the freeway, what was once a thriving business area became a ghost of its previous self.
