Beautiful white sand beach on Okaloosa Island. The beach is open to the public 24 hours a day for no cost. Parking is free, and usually there is enough for everybody who wants to come. Coords are for the beach's picnic pavilions.

Northwest Florida Beaches are among the finest in the world. Miles of soft sugar-white sandy beaches stretch all up and down the coast. The water is warm and a gorgeous emerald-turquoise green with gentle waves. The sand is so soft it squeaks underfoot!

There are no cars or dogs allowed on the beach. A boardwalk with shops, restaurants and nightclubs separate the beach from the parking area. The beach has public restrooms, a couple of playground areas for kids and showerheads for rinsing sand off when you are done. The Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier and Gulfarium are nearby as well. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season for most of the day. Glass containers are not allowed, and Okaloosa County Deputies patrol the beach regularly.
