This area of Denver (west of I-25 at 58th Avenue) became known as Furniture Row when the American Furniture headquarters store was located here. Many other furniture stores clustered around to better serve furniture shoppers. When American Furniture needed to move to a larger location, business dropped off significantly. These stores banded together to promote one another and help the area survive. Many years later these stores have built a huge multi-store shopping area for furniture buyers. Their logo consists of four stacked Shaker chairs. These huge chairs are made of steel painted a reddish-rust color. In their television commercials, the chairs 'walk' onto the screen, then 'jump' upon each other to create the logo. It is really cute (at least in my opinion).
