Naval Air Station Cecil Field was operational from the 1940's until the late 1990's, when it was decommissioned by the Navy. This walk honors the aviators from the base that were killed while serving their country during war. Each aviator has a small marker and tree in their honor along the walk; there are fifteen markers and trees in total. A plaque explaining the walk is at one end, and a sculpture with four of the planes used at Cecil is at the other.

In Honor Of: To each of our fallen comrades who have made the ultimate sacrifice in combat.

Description of Memorial: This memorial is next to the base's chapel, along one of the main roads. Now that the base is no longer used by the Navy, its a very quiet area. The walk leads back to a couple more memorials, for Vietnam POW/MIAs, and those who served in Desert Storm.
