The community of Haines was established in 1883 the year before the railroad came to Baker Valley. This well cared for cemetery was established in 1895 and is located on a hill top about 2 miles north of Haines just off Hwy. 30 on Haines Cemetery Road. The cemetery is 2 acres and contains about a 300 graves.
