The fire tower was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Companies 418, 451 and 453 worked in the Olustee and Ocean Pond camps. This tower is one of the many projects completed by these men in the mid 1930s.

Logs must include picture of person with GPS'r in hand with the waymark and log of experience and any additional things learned about the waymark.
