A very visible small pillar painted white and approximately 10m from the roadside. The ground between the road and pillar is quite rough and boggy so care is required.
The pillar is cemented to a large natural rock and has a metal lid on the top inscribed with "OS". I was unable to open it today to view the interior.
There are no distinguishing markings.
Edit to Add: I returned on 31/12/07 and used a screwdriver to flip open the lid and see inside. There was a squarish cut-out section approximnately 10cm deep with a large brass rivet in the centre. Photograph added.
Type of Trigpoint: Triangulation Pillar
 Condition: Good
Number on Flush Bracket: N/A (OSI)
