This disk was buried under 2 inches of wet mud. I enhanced the photos with corn starch. Parking to reach the disk is a little tricky but by going west of the mark about 200 yards you can safely park on the shoulder of the road and walk behind the guard rail to the location.

Directions are as follows:

DESCRIBED BY GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION 1972 (WRN) THE STATION IS LOCATED 4.6 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CALHOUN AND 2.0 MILES SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROUTE 53 AND INTERSTATE 75. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE ROUTE 53 AND INTERSTATE 75, ABOUT 3 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CALHOUN, PROCEED SOUTH ON THE ACCESS ROAD FOR 2.10 MILES TO A COUNTY ROAD. PROCEED WEST ON THE COUNTY ROAD FOR 0.2 MILES TO THE STATION AT THE WEST END OF THE BRIDGE OVER INTERSTATE 75. THE STATION IS A STANDARD BRASS DISK STAMPED 064-210, SET IN A 10 INCH CYLINDRICAL CONCRETE POST FLUSH WITH THE GROUND. IT IS LOCATED 4.6 FEET WEST OF THE FENCE, 19.3 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE COUNTY ROAD, AND 7.4 FEET EAST OF THE GUARDRAIL. NO UNDERGROUND MARK WAS SET. NO SUITABLE LOCATION COULD BE FOUND FOR AN AZIMUTH MARK. THE STATION B V 064-209 (GAHD) WILL SERVE FOR AZIMUTH
