Long Description:
The City of Jacksonville purchased this 144-acre site, formerly the Dunes Golf course, in 1994. Among the amenities at this large, Arlington-area park is the City`s top disc golf course. The park also includes lighted baseball fields, soccer fields, a walking trail, a community center operated by the Police Athletic League, playground equipment, and picnic areas. Formerly known as District II Regional Park, it was renamed in May 2005 in honor of former Jacksonville Mayor Ed Austin.
