Long Description:
This church building completed in 1906 was originally built for the First Presbyterian Church of Two Harbors. The building is constructed of red sandstone quarried in Port Wing, Wisconsin and the building cost approximately $15,000. The building was the third Presbyterian church to occupy this site. The second was built in 1898 and the first in 1888. The First Presbyterian Church was the first church in Two Harbors.

In 1969 the local congregations of the First Presbyterian Church and the United Methodist Church merged to form the United Church of Two Harbors. The church continues its affiliation with both denominations - Presbyterian Church USA and the United Methodist Church.
