Since the early 1950's, this location has been a home to Pit Cooked Lexington BBQ. In 2002 owners Steve & Tena Younts opened under the name of Smiley's Lexington Barbeque. They continue to carry on the time honored tradition of Lexington Style Pit Cooked BBQ. Smiley's is also known for their delicious Pit Cooked BBQ Chicken, and homemade desserts. A full breakfast menu is also available.
Hours: Tue-Sun 6:00am till 9:00pm (Closed Mondays)
The classic smell of Pit Cooked BBQ can help you find this place for blocks away. I prefer the sliced sandwich, but you can't go wrong with any of the food served here.
The entire staff here is great. Curb servce is also still available, just like the good old days.
