Casler Hardware is a handyman's haven. It's also a treasure of Jackson history.

The store's back end is the former Blackwell Building, a mercantile built in 1836 that later became the town's second post office. Its locally mined, sandstone walls - some 3-feet thick - once fronted the village square. Harold E. Casler, owner of Casler Hardware Inc. since 1939, Casler Hardware was previously known in 1910 as Barber Hardware and later Walker Hardware.
