Just beyond mile marker 2 on the Hana Highway, a bridge crosses the Ho'olawanui stream and here you’ll find Twin Falls Fruit Stand. Just to the left (east) of the stand you will find the gate marking the start of the trail to Twin Falls (N20 54.733 W156 14.584).
Twin Falls is a nice stop if you want to view several small falls and take a swim in the pool beneath it, but is not as large nor as spectacular as some of the falls further along the Hana Highway. Nonetheless, it is a worthwhile spot with an interesting hike. The hike is roughly 1.5 miles round-trip and takes about an hour.
The flow over the waterfall is often just a trickle, but after a rain it can swell into a torrent. Caution should be exercised in these conditions as this area of Maui is prone to flash flooding.
