Private in Capt Thomas Kennedy's Co., in the 2nd Battalion of Cumberland County, Militia, Pennsylvania, Col John Davis.
He enlisted at age 21 in 1775.
There is a seperate memorial within the cemetery dedicated to those who served in Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War. McClure's name appears on this monument. Supplemental picture attached.
