This is one of the many Old Stones I have found throughout the United States.
It is one of my favorites as well.

1/1/1935 by CGS (MONUMENTED)
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 (CAS) THIS TRAVERSE STATION IS THE CENTER OF A 2-BY 2-FOOT CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT STANDS 4 FEET HIGH. IT IS ON A 3-BY 3-FOOT CONCRETE BASE THAT PROJECTS 1 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND. THERE IS A STONE SET IN THE TOP OF THE MONUMENT THAT IS ABOUT 5 BY 12 INCHES, AND EXENDS 12 INCHES ABOVE THE CONCRETE. THE STONE HAS MIER CUT IN THE N SIDE, AND ARK ON S FACE. THE MONUMENT HAS MISSOURI 1821 MOLDED IN THE N SIDE, OKLAHOMA 1907 IN THE W SIDE, ARKANSAS 1836 IN THE S SIDE, AND ERECTED BY OZARK CULTURE CLUB 1915 IN E SIDE. THE MONUMENT IS 3 FEET NW OF A 12-INCH OAK, 35 FEET W OF MISSOURI HIGHWAY 90, AND 212.049 METERS W OF STATION SOUTH WEST MISSOURI.
