"San Francisco sculptor, the late Benny Bufano, created this 60-foot-tall stainless steel rocket statue, the Universal Child. There's a mosaic at the bottom of the statue (here's a close-up of some of the universal children).
Benny Bufano also created the California Bear that is in front of the Center for Performing Arts in downtown San Jose."
