This house was designed by Louis Lenzen, in the colonial revival style.


"Fred, as he preferred to be known, was the son of Frederick Franck, Sr. He attended Santa Clara schools and Healds Business College.
He became a prominent insurance businessman and lived on The Alameda
in San Jose with his wife, Maude, and their two daughters, until
moving to property inherited from his father at 1179 Washington St. in Santa Clara."
