This mosaic tiled mural is on the first floor of the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts at the corner of Tremont and Boylston Streets, and depicts symbols and other objects important to the fraternity.

If you exit the Boylston Street T Station and walk to the intersection of Tremont and Boylston Streets, one of the things which may catch your eye is a long mosaic tiled mural on a white building. This mural is on the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts.
According to comments to photos on their web site, this mural was installed in 1967 as part of rennovations to the building. The architect overseeing the rennovations was Dr. Arland A. Dirlam. The tiles were made by the Smalti Glass Mosaic Company of Italy for this project.
There are five panels (one is a short piece above a door). Each has its own set of objects, and are tied together with a tourquoise colored background. Ojects include the seal of the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, the sun, columns, various tools such as the level, and the Internationally recognized symbol of a square, compasses and "G."
