Danish Mill
Built in 1902, 11 miles north of Kenmare, by Christian C. Jensen, Danish
immigrant. The mill was in daily operation until 1918. Gear are
hand-hewn maple. Canvas sails attached to vanes regulate speed of grinding
stones which weigh 1800-lbs. each. Capacity was 200 sacks per day.
