When Hardees purchased the Burger Chef chain, this Burger Chef in Bedford, Indiana did not become a Hardee’s like many of the others did. It changed its name to Pleasers. This store continued to operate until 1996. After it closed the store was torn down and the lot was used as part of Town Square Plaza, a strip mall.
