This ship ran aground many years ago, was dug and channeled out in order for garbage barges to come and dump their waste on the Tulalip reservation. (Now a superfund site). I was unable to come up with the specific reasons why this boat sank, or why it was never raised. Now the boat has a happy secondary life as an otter playground. The cute little guys can be seen scurrying around it.
