The ads, ether kept for nostalgia or it was not easy to remove/cover, are reminders of the past establishments.
These ads have been up my whole life (1980). I never recall the appliance store being open, but now it is a good bar [tastyworld]. Charles Parrot was in buisness at some time, and park place was a 6 story 'shopping mall'--before there were malls, Georgia Square opened in Sept 1980.
