We were tooling along Route 12 one day this past August (2007), making our way through the town of Inkster, when we came across this automobile service center. Well, of course the four year old in the back seat goes nuts because he recognizes the logo from 2006's movie "Cars".
So we pull over and I start taking pictures of the sign. The next thing we know, someone comes out of the office and asks what we're doing. So I said, "I'm just taking a picture of your sign." Well this guy gives me this puzzled look, and I tell him the logo is the same as the movie. He's just standing there, and says, "What movie"?
I'm immediately thinking , "Oh come on..."
So either this guy was just playing dumb (or not playing), or he has no idea, which would mean his sign company thought they'd have some fun. For his sake, I hope the folks at Pixar don't ever find out.
