Long Description:
This cemetery is named for the Shawnee Chief Blue Jacket, who used
to live in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The cemetery gates show it to have
opened in 1856, and with the last burial in 1941. There are
approximately 200 graves here, and in spite of it no longer being
used it is still well maintained.
