USGS 2865=Z315, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This elevation mark is located at the northwest corner of the Main and East Second Streets intersection in Prineville, Oregon. The cap is set in the sidewalk almost at the curb. The cap was originally set by the U.S. Geological Survey in 1929 and was marked Z315.
Based on the current location (in a handicap ramp) this mark appears to have been reset, but there is no reset mark on the cap. Also comparison with the 2002 photo on the geocaching.com benchmark page for QD0326 shows that the cap has been reset and elevation lowered.
