This is a wooden piling pier located on the St Johns River in Palatka, Florida. The pier has 7 boat slips along with a pump out station. It is approx 400 foot long and 12 foot wide with the last 50 to 60 feet opening into an octagon. The prime use during the year is 4th of July firworks, mullet fishing and the dock is the best place to catch your fill of shrimp when they are running in the river. When the shrimp are running there is not an inch of free space available. There are no fees, and no supplies to purchase here. There are many fishing tournaments as well as other activites held along the riverfront here. There are public restrooms nearby.
