Editor Charles Perry bought Lot 10 in 1918 from Elizabeth Booth. Perry also bought Lot 11, but resold it. The Perry house was made unique by the addition of gables inserted within the cornice of the flat roofline which evokes an Asian feel.
The Perry House is nestled in the woods and is the least visible of the four from the street.
