Pete's Roc N Rye was a favorite stop for Lincoln Highway travellers looking for a little night life. The business is still open and this old sign stands near what was the highway.

Pete's Roc N Rye was a favorite stop for travellers looking for a little night life. It was known for being wild and rowdy and in much need of policing. The business is still open but you wouldn't know it from looking at it. The old signs from Lincoln highway days abound, including this dilapidated sign. I can just imagine this place in 50 years ago - Neon blazing and the music blaring.
Pete's has definitely seen better days and it's barely open. Now there are just a few old timers who frequent the place. It was bypassed by the interstate so not much business comes their way.
