The view is of the Great Bend of the Genesee River that has made Letchworth State Park! Long known as "The Grand Canyon of The East", the views are spectacular! This stop along the Park Road is also know as Archery Field. In the 1920's, there used to be archery tournaments and other sporting events in the open field on the other side of the road from the gorge.
